Stellenbosch believe they can grab their first big scalp in PSL action this season when they host Orlando Pirates on Saturday (3.30pm).
It’s the second time in seven days that these two face off after Bucs edged the top-flight newcomers 1-0 in their Telkom Knockout match at Orlando Stadium last Saturday.
And coach Steve Barker believes he saw enough to get the better of them this time around.
He says: “Pirates’ Achilles heel is their defence and we didn’t ask them enough questions [last week].
“We have to press them high up, win the ball there - it suits the players we have - and hit them at set-pieces.
“I think set-pieces can be a tool against them. There were situations last week we could have done better at. With the delivery of a player like Marc van Heerden, it would be unwise not to use that option.”

After a tough start to the season for Bucs under coach Rhulani Mokwena, the club is under pressure.
Sensing that vulnerability, Stellies are confident of leapfrogging their rivals with a victory, with the 14th-placed hosts just two points behind eight-placed Pirates.

Barker says: “In the loss, I got a sense that if you create chances when can put them under enough pressure to win the match.
“They aren’t in a position in the league for their ambitions as club and we want to get higher up in the table.
“The pressure is on them. They will think that they should beat Stellenbosch twice in a row.”
