Doubles star Raven Klaasen and wheechair-bound Kgothatso Montjane are the only South Africans left standing at Wimbledon.
The 36-year-old Capetonian will play in the men’s doubles Round of 16 alongside his partner Michael Venus on Monday.
While they will face Frederik Nielsen and Robin Haase at 1.15pm, South Africa’s singles hope, Kevin Anderson, has been reduced to being a spectator at the tournament.
This after Anderson lost to Argentina Guido Pella in the third round on Friday.

Also on court on Monday will be Spanish ace Rafa Nadal after he knocked out controversial Australian Nick Kyrgios in the second round on Thursday, before beating Jo-Wilfred Tsonga in straight sets in Round Three on the weekend.
Nadal will now face Portuguese Joao Sousa on Centre Court in the fourth round at 2pm.
Top seed, Novak Djokovic will also play his fourth-round match on Monday at 4.30pm against Ugo Humbert on Court 1.
In the ladies draw, 15-year-old Cori Gauff will continue her rise to stardom when she crosses swords with seventh-seed Simona Halep in their Round-of-16 clash on Court 1 at 3.15pm.
Kgothatso Montjane represents South Africa in wheelchair tennis and will play her first match of the tournament on Thursday.
