Manchester United’s poor start to the Premier League continued with a 1-0 loss at Newcastle on Sunday evening.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side slumped to a third loss of the season thanks to debutant Matty Longstaff’s sweet 72nd-minute strike.
United struggled to create quality chances despite enjoying over 60 percent of the possession at St James Park.

Harry Maguire had their best opportunity from a corner just before the halftime break, but the £80m defender wasted his free header.
By then Newcastle had the crossbar, when Longstaff fired a dipping shot over David de Gea before being denied by the woodwork.
The 19-year-old would not be denied later in the game when he ran on to a ball on the edge of the box and sidefooted the ball beyond the outstretched De Gea.

United, though, could not get their act together and were unable to save themselves, leaving the Red Devils wallowing in 12th place.
