Instead of celebrating Women’s Day, Meghan Cremer's emotional family held a memorial service at her Rietvlei, Philippi home a day after her body was found on a sand mine on a Philippi farm in the early hours of Thursday morning.
"I believe that Meghan's physical body is gone from us, we will remember her. We look at the beautiful sky, nature and horses and that is when we will see her," said a family friend who attended the service.

Jamie said they are still trying to accept that they will never see Meghan again.
"You were still in disbelief, the Sunday, we searched saying she will come home."
A family friend, who asked not to be identified, said Meghan's spirit would always be remembered in the life around them, especially nature.
