Staff at Sportscene in Westgate Mall, Mitchells Plain got a shock when five armed men stormed in to rob them on Sunday morning.
The skelms forced people into the back room and ransacked the winkel, stealing new cellphones.
The men entered through the front door of the shop, gun pointed staff and took them into the back room where they were relieved of their personal possessions and then the skelms made off with an undisclosed amount of cellphones, says a witness.
The incident was over in minutes, and the staff were left traumatised, but there were no injuries.
Scared staffers contacted the police who arrived shortly after the incident.
On 18 December 2018 the same store was broken into after closing for the day and an unknown number of suspects made off with dozens of boxes of takkies.
One man was later arrested in connection with this incident.
