The decomposed body of Zainodien Moerat, who was dubbed a "tokoloshe" and "dwarf" and accused of stealing and conning mense, has positively been identified by his family after his body was found floating in a canal in Macassar six months ago.
Zainodien's family confirmed to the Daily Voice that the body belonged go their 68-year-old father after detectives visited their home on Monday.
The family is preparing to bury Zainodien on Wednesday according Muslim tradition which will start at the Masjidul Rahmaan in Ryston Road, Hanover Park.
Zainodien of Hanover Park suffered from Alzheimer's and buried his wife ten years ago after a battle with cancer.
