It’s finally Friday, and of course for many of us, a lekker long weekend lies ahead, thanks to Heritage Day aka Braai Day on Tuesday.
That is, if you have put in a day’s leave for Monday mos.
For the rugby lovers, this is going to be one of those historic weekends where everyone gathers for a lekker chop en dop while South Africa’s Springboks take on the All Blacks in Japan for the Rugby World Cup.
As you know by now, the SABC is not broadcasting any RWC matches and many of us just don’t have the kroon for DStv.
If you don’t have a place to watch the game on Saturday, come and get in the gees at the Premium Sportsbar in Westridge, Mitchells Plain where the Daily Voice team will be watching the game and soema celebrating Heritage Day.

We look forward to seeing you there!
