Jose Mourinho is preparing his Tottenham side for Saturday’s Premier League clash against the best team in the world – Liverpool.
The Special One admits that Jurgen Klopp has created the standard bearers of the game at Anfield.
The German coach’s Reds are reigning European and world champions, while beating Spurs this weekend will help the unbeaten Kop idols retain a massive 13-point lead at the top of the Prem as they hunt a first league title in 30 long years.
It’s a quest that the proud Mourinho would like nothing more than to emulate in north London, but he knows it will take time.
And time, he believes, is what Klopp had on his side.

Ahead of hosting the Reds without main man Harry Kane because of injury, Mourinho says: “I was watching Liverpool last week and I think I was watching the best team in the world in this moment.
“I think they are.
“I Googled it just to confirm – Jurgen arrived in October 2015. 2015. 16. 17. 18. 19 and now 20.
“I think eight transfer windows, players coming and going, and even more important than that, is time for him to put his philosophy,
training method.
“And he has beautiful results from all his work.

“In his first season they finished sixth or something like that. And four years later they are not just world champions, but the best in the world in this moment.
“So I don’t panic. We are calm, but it doesn’t mean we don’t want to win the next match.”
