South Africa's first Twenty20 international match against India in Dharamsala was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Sunday due to heavy rain.
Covers spread across the majority of the ground greeted the teams and spectators and the inclement weather prevented the toss from taking place.

The game did not even get as far as the toss which means that the Proteas uncapped quartet, Temba Bavuma, Anrich Nortje, Bjorn Fortuin and George Linde, will have to wait until the second of the three matches for the chance to make a debut.
The three-match series moves to Mohali where the second T20 international will be played on Wednesday. The final match will be played in Bengaluru next Sunday.
