It seems promotion to the Premiership may demand many adjustments for new NFD champions Stellenbosch.
They have already started with the restructuring of their technical team ahead of their debut season in the top flight.
They will also need to put together an MDC team, which may also require its own backroom team.
This could be an exciting time for the young talent in the Winelands region.
Stellies’ other issue will be whether their fortress, Idas Valley Stadium, can pass the stadium requirements of the PSL.
With a capacity of 2 000 and just one grandstand, it remains to be seen if the PSL will give the green light to host top-flight matches.
There are not too many options available for the Winelands outfit, as Stellenbosch University’s Coetzenberg Stadium has not been favoured by the PSL recently.

Phillipi Stadium has also not passed the PSL’s security and safety requirements.
That leaves them with Athlone Stadium which is also used by the NFD teams and sometimes Cape Town City, with the Cape Town Stadium which City use as their main home venue as well.
Many PSL teams have catchy nicknames, so there’s that too!
Meanwhile, Maritzburg United can confirm their PSL status when they visit Royal Eagles on Wednesday in their 3pm Promotion Playoffs clash.
Coach Eric Tinkler's manne, who lead the mini-league with six points, need just a point from their final two games, the last being Saturday's match with TTM.
