Schaapkraal residents are in an uproar after a video has gone viral on WhatsApp of laaities drugging in a house in the area.
The 90-second video shows teenage boys smoking dagga which is believed to be laced with another unknown chemical.
A boy is seen inhaling smoke from a 2 litre bottle held by one of his friends who is also holding what looks like a zol in his hand.
Other boys in the background can be heard laughing.
After exhaling, the dazed boy falls on a single bed, laughing his head off.
His friends then give him the zol and they take his hand to show it to the camera while laughing. The zol gets lit for the boy and he starts smoking it.

The boy then starts spitting on the ground.
Still laughing, his friends zoom in on the spot where he is spitting while he is rocking back and forth dazedly.
A concerned parent claims drug dealers from the Egoli informal settlement are supplying a 14-year-old boy who, in turn, sells to laaities in the area.
“A 14-year-old boy is selling this dagga. It’s not normal dagga, it’s laced with something but I don’t know what it is. They’re getting this in Egoli,” says the parent, who asked not to be named.
“One of the children were caught out and spilled the beans. They’re all under 16.
“The children are sneaking out to a place they call ‘the nest’ when everyone is sleeping.”

SAPS’ Andrè Traut encourages parents to come forward and report the matter so that it can be investigated.
“Parents should not be fearful to approach police with such a serious matter as the safety of their children is important.”
