Two men have been murdered in Atlantis within hours.
On Saturday at 10.15am near Starling Road, Robinvale, cops found the body of a 47-year-old man with stab wounds to his body. It is believed the man’s throat was slit.
On Sunday in Gardenia Street, Protea Park, cops found the body of a 23-year-old man who had been shot dead.
Ward councillor Barbara Rass says she is shocked by the murders: “The murder of Saturday is near the same spot where we had the killing of an 11-year-old girl years ago.
“This man was brutally stabbed to death.”
She says the murdered man in Robinvale’s identity is still being established.
Police say they have yet to make an arrest in either case.
