Three armed suspects are being hunted by cops after they robbed a post office in Khayelitsha and made off with cash.
The drama unfolded at the post office in Makhaza Shopping Centre on Friday at 8.15am when the skelms stormed into the premises and demanded geld.
Cops say the suspects threatened at gunpoint staff who had been preparing for the work day ahead.
The three suspects then fled on foot with the cash.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, says they are appealing for information to apprehend the suspects.
“Harare police is investigating a case of business robbery after an incident at the post office in Makhaza shopping centre on 1 March.
“According to reports at 8.15am, the employees were preparing to start with the business of the day when three men, two of them armed, entered and threatened the victims and took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.”
