Mariah Carey has just smashed THREE Guinness World Records.
Her 1994 song All I Want For Christmas Is You hit is still making waves, 25 years after the holiday hit was first made.
Still hugely popular today, the Guinness World Records organisation announced on their website on Monday that Mariah has set three world records with her hit.
The song broke the record for highest-charting holiday (Christmas/New Year) song on the Billboard US Hot 100 by a solo artist.
With 10.8 million streams last December, it is also the most-streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours by a female artist; and the record featured the most weeks in the UK singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song at 20 weeks.
A Guinness World Records adjudicator Michael Empric presented Mariah with her certificate on stage during her show at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
The diva shared her joy of her major accomplishment on Instagram.
She captioned a photo of herself with Empric and her children, eight-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, onstage with her certificate: “Thank you so much Guinness World Records for honoring me with three records in the 2020 book!”

She previously told USA Today how the hit came about.
“I’ve always loved Christmas so much my entire life, but I grew up not having a lot of money and not being able to experience it like the other kids did.
PRIZE WINNER: Mariah and her twins
“I wanted Christmas to be perfect, but for a lot of different reasons, it didn’t always end up working out well, coming from such a dysfunctional family. So I think when I wrote it, I just put every ounce of longing for that perfect moment in it.”
