Madonna is not too old to be banned for being too ougat.
The 63-year-old pop queen shared a few provocative pictures on Instagram last week.
In one shot, in which the Vogue hitmaker is wearing fishnet stockings and high heels, she gives fans a full rear view as she looks like she is searching for something under her bed.
Another shows her sprawled on her mattress, while others show her lying under a duvet with her breasts exposed, and biting the bed frame.
Instagram was not impressed, though, and removed the saucy images which show a bit of nipple.
A spokesperson for Meta, Instagram’s parent company, told CNN that photos which breach its nudity rules are removed “whenever we find it, no matter who posts it”.
Madonna then hit back and said she decided to republish the images.
She told her 17 million followers: “I’m reposting photographs Instagram took down without warning or notification.
“The reason they gave my management that does not handle my account was that a small portion of my nipple was exposed.
“It is still astounding to me that we live in a culture that allows every inch of a woman’s body to be shown except a nipple.
“As if that is the only part of a woman’s anatomy that could be sexualised. The nipple that nourishes the baby!”
She also compared the double standards in place for men and women, saying: “Can’t a man’s nipple be experienced as erotic?”
Madonna was, however, the butt of all the jokes, with social media users and even celebrities making gat of her.
TV presenter Anneka Rice said: “Madonna and I are exactly the same age. I presume she’s searching for her phone charger. If I tried that I’d never be able to get up.”
And TV host Piers Morgan, who is one of Madonna’s critics, simply tweeted: “Rock Bottom.”
