Local is lekker and this weekend our homegrown musos will be showcasing their talent in aid of a women’s shelter.
Simplified IT Services have had various successful fundraisings in 2019.
Their last one, called Karaoke Issie ’n Jokie, was a collaboration with Live4Ever productions along with Winter Wonderland, and raised over R50 000 for the Habibia Children’s Home.
This weekend, they will be placing the scourge of gender-based violence under the spotlight, and raise funds for the Ihata Shelter for Abused Women and Children.
Thanks to the mense from Simplified IT Services, the shelter’s director, Nuraan Osman, through their Brand Ambassador, Madeegah Anders, the Enough concert was born.
Fahmi Jacobs, from SITS, says: “Simplified IT Services has always had a huge passion to make a difference in our communities and believe that through the establishment of our NPO we now have a platform to make this difference.”
The show takes place on Saturday at Sans Souci Girls High at 5pm.
The line-up includes Madeegah, Jawaahier Petersen, Ramaine Barreiro Lloyd, Jarrad Ricketts, Vicky Sampson, Ashur Petersen, Krista Jonas, Nithaam Solomon, Andrea Fortuin, Niyaaz Arendse, Wayne McKay, Rafiqa Ismail and Amy Jones.

Meanwhile, Boeta Joe and Boeta Gamat are back!
Comedians David Isaacs and Oscar Petersen are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their hit show Joe Barber at the Grand Arena, GrandWest.
The showcase will feature performances by rappers YoungstaCPT and Early B, and a special guest appearance by actress Shaleen Surtie-Richards.
