Cardi B has declared that she will apply for Nigerian citizenship if America goes to war with Iran.
The US rapper was reacting to memes on Twitter, speculating on the possibility of World War III when she made the revelation.
“Naaaaa these memes are f***in but s**t ain’t no joke! ... Specially being from New York,” said the 26-year-old star.
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker took aim at President Donald Trump who ordered the assassination of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani outside of Baghdad last week, which sparked the conflict.
Then Wednesday, Iran fired missiles at Iraq military bases where US troops are stationed, marking its most aggressive action toward America in more than 40 years, since students seized the US Embassy in Tehran in November of 1979, leading to the Iran hostage crisis.
“[It’s] sad this man is putting Americans [lives] in danger. Dumbest move Trump did till date ... I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.”

Just last month, Cardi played concerts in Nigeria and Ghana, sharing pictures on Instagram of her having a jol in both countries.
