It’s hard to believe that the festive season is over. Done. Klaar. Finished. Just like that, it’s all gone.
For most of us, this is the first week back at work and we need a few more days to get back into the rhythm of things.
No doubt things in the kitchen are slowly (or fast) going back to normal too.

We’re well into Januworry month so for the next nine days (and counting) we’re going to have to be creative in the kitchen.
I find that weekday meals in Summer are a lot easier and quicker to prepare and lights meals are always a winner.
Things like skewers, sausage rolls and easy chicken dishes have been on my menu a lot lately and the kid loves it.
It’s like holiday food on a very tight budget.
