Former Mr South Africa, JP Roberts, and his team are hosting Mr South Africa 2019 in Cape Town this year and what better venue than The Rotunda at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay.
Of the 20 finalists from all over South Africa, EIGHT are from Cape Town.
Organisers say: “It has been a long and sometimes daunting first year as the new management of Mr South Africa.
“But we have reached and achieved more than we hoped for and we are eternally grateful and excited for the amazing journey ahead.”
Prizes worth more than R340 000 are up for grabs.
The event takes place on Saturday at 5.30pm and the dress code is smart formal.

Meanwhile, Karin Kortje and Camillo Lombard are hosting their third annual show, called Divas and Maestros, at the Cape Town City Hall on Sunday.

Divas and Maestros has a lekker line-up of local acts, including Donveno Prins, Madeegha Anders, MC Quinton Manuels and Jill Levenberg.
The Cape Music Institute Choir will also be at the event.
Karin will also be launching her very own Karin Kortje Foundation on the night aimed at empowering young people from rural areas.
“It’s a red carpet event so if people feel like dressing up, you are free to do so.
“We will surely be dressed to the occasion.”
