Angry Manchester United fans attacked CEO Ed Woodward’s home on Tuesday night.
A video on social media was captioned “Ed Woodward’s gonna die”, while fans in balaclavas threw flares at his house.
Luckily for the United boss, he wasn’t home at the time.
It is believed that fans are blaming Woodward for the club’s struggles on the pitch and also their failure to sign players during the current transfer window.

A club statement on the matter reads:
“Anybody found guilty of a criminal offence, or found to be trespassing on this property, will be banned for life by the club and may face prosecution.
“Fans expressing opinion is one thing, criminal damage and intent to endanger life is another. “There is simply no excuse for this.”
Frustration mounted with Woodward struggling top sign long-time target Bruno Fernandes.
But just as their patience ran out, Woodward looked to have sealed the deal, with the Portugal international having landed in Manchester
yesterday for his medical.

United reportedly secured the Sporting Lisbon star in a deal that could be worth up to £67.8m.
The Red Devils will pay an initial fee of £46.6m and the deal includes add-ons of £8.5m based on Fernandes’ appearances for United and the club qualifying for the Champions League.
