Liverpool are targeting a fab four of trophies this season.
The Reds’ £75m defender Virgil van Dijk made the sensational claim that the Merseyside giants want to win every tournament they play in this term.
Jurgen Klopp’s manne have won all of their six matches this season, including Tuesday’s dramatic 3-2 victory over Paris St Germain in the Champions League, a competition of which they made the final last term.
The Anfield club have not won a trophy since lifting the League Cup six years ago.
But ahead of facing his former club Southampton in tormorrow’s 4pm Premier League kickoff, Van Dijk says the Reds have new belief.
The Dutchman says: “We want to compete for every competition like we did last year, and we wanted to start well this time.
“We’ve had a good start to the season, nothing has been won yet, we need to show it every week, every three days now.
“Everyone is excited, everyone is feeling good, everyone wanted to be part of this. And you know, we know the season is very long, we have four competitions to play in, and we want to win everything.”
