Liverpool and Tottenham have a date with destiny on Saturday when they face off for the Champions League final (9pm kickoff).
The two clubs set up the all-English showdown at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano Stadium after staging some epic comebacks.
And now they believe they have the mental edge and motivation to claim the title after testing routes to the final.
For Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, it’s all about redemption after missing out on the title in last year’s showdown with Real Madrid in Kiev.
Salah was forced to leave the pitch after damaging his shoulder in a tangle with Sergio Ramos.
And now he wants to score and win the title.

The Egyptian says: “I hope I can play the full game this time. I’m very excited.
“I hope we can right what happened last season, get a good result and win the competition.
“[Scoring the winner is] not just dream. I hope it becomes a reality and I score in the final.
“This is our second final in a row.
“We lost the first but everything feels better this time around and we have more experience than last time.

“I hope we can win it. It will be tough.
"This is a final and no opponent would have been easy... It is harder because [Tottenham] is an English side.”
Meanwhile, Spurs defender Toby Alderweireld reckons their rocky road to Madrid that are capable of overcoming any challenge.
The Belgian says: “If you see our route in the Champions League, it has not been easy.
“In the group Barcelona and Inter, [Borussia] Dortmund in Germany, [Manchester] City first in England and Ajax in Holland so it was a very tough route.
“I think the mentality of the team showed us that we can achieve anything we want.”
