Blitzboks superstar Seabelo Senatla says their mission in Dubai this week will be a tricky one.
Senatla, who is South Africa’s leading try-scorer in this form of the game, believes they have been drawn in a tricky pool.
Up against England, Spain and Kenya in Pool D this coming weekend, Senatla says: “Our pool in Dubai is a tricky one and the three days of the tournament will each pose a different challenge, so our ability to switch on and switch off will be as important as going out there and doing our thing on the field.”
One of the best things about being away from home on trips like these - is 'being at home' with our friends at The Meat Company Dubai. Thanks to the folks at The Meat Company Madinat for a great night out! #shosholoza pic.twitter.com/uizkkDQvDM— Springbok Sevens (@Blitzboks) December 2, 2019
Speedster Senatla will return to the Stormers camp ahead of the Super Rugby season after the Cape Town Sevens.
With his franchise coach John Dobson having said that the wing has chosen XVs over Sevens as he looks to become a Springbok, Senatla says he is only focused on bringing back gold from Dubai.
He says: “We are pretty much focused on the here and the now, and the preparations in the last couple of weeks have been on the immediate results.”
Senatla’s teammate Rosko Specman, another who will return for Super Rugby action, believes they are ready for whatever challenge.
Specman says: “Everyone is fresh and keen to implement the things they worked on, and to give it all.”
