Former Bafana Bafana striker Nathan Paulse has come out of retirement to play for NFD new boys Cape Umoya United.
Paulse quit football at end of the previous season after being released from Ajax Cape Town.
During his time away from football, the Athlone ace worked as a presenter and analyst for SuperSport and hosted a podcast with Sizwe Mbebe.
But his former boss at the Urban Warriors, Roger de Sa, has lured him back to the pitch with the challenge of promotion to the PSL.
The 36-year-old signed a deal with the club on Wednesday and will join Ajax old boys Roscoe Pietersen and Toriq Losper as well as Dominic Isaacs, who is working as De Sa’s No.2 at the club.
The Spirited Ones kick off their season against TS Galaxy in Kameelrivier this Sunday (3pm).
