Stormers coach John Dobson will mix-and-match his squad for this weekend’s assignments.
The Capetonians first face neighbours the Kings at Loerie Park in Knysna on Friday night (7pm), before coming up against the Sharks at Soccer City on Superhero Sunday at 1pm.
The main manne are expected to be in the squad for Sunday’s match when Dobson announces his teams today.
The coach says of his thinking ahead of his team selection: “Siya [Kolisi] will definitely lead the team on Superhero Sunday, but someone like Frans Malherbe, who is not known as a champion of high-speed rugby on the highveld he may be better suited to the Knysna game.

“I gave the Boks quite a bit of time off after the World Cup. Siya asked to fall in early, so he is ready for it - a guy like Frans there may be an element of risk in playing him at altitude at 1 o’clock.
“The stronger and higher profile team will play on Sunday, but there will be some Springboks going to the Kings in Friday night.
“I think it’s fair to Knysna and fair to the integration of those players.”
