It's one massive moment for South African football culture to take centre stage.
Trust me when I tell you that the Soweto Derby is beyond whatever you imagine a day of just pure football entertainment can be like.
The funniest thing, sad really, is that the two teams concerned, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, don’t even have to try hard.
It’s a marketer’s dream and one crazy South African mess at the very same time.
The Premiership league title will be on the line when these two great South African football clubs face each other at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
The world will be watching as Soweto’s oldest existing top-flight football franchises clash in the great Calabash this weekend.
It’s a sight to behold seeing that the World Cup arena lights up at night as glory is celebrated inside of it.
That might be the case when the clock is ticking towards 6pm when the referee has blown the full-time whistle.

Seeing that 2010 World Cup stadium packed to capacity evokes the spirit of Cyril Kobus and Abdul Bhamjee.
Ama2000s won’t know anything about these names, most of their peers, their Bhuti, Sisi and their Ma en Pa might not know much about these two streetwise football administrators.
That’s our fault, us the media and those that work or serve in it. We don’t create enough to keep the fans informed and engaged.
Eish okay let me stop, I’m starting my Tsotsi of the Boardroom things again.
That’s because I’m a purist and dare I say, this weekend’s match-up between Chiefs and Pirates is one of the few that have a bit of juice.
If you’re not a fan of local diski for whatever reason, you’ll probably say it’s an overhyped match and not worth your time.
Well, let me tell you that your decision affects the generations that follow.
That’s why names like Bhamjee and Kobus don’t ring a bell with some of you and now the kids have no clue who they are.
Yet they dream of playing football in the PSL.
Well, these two amazing football administration supremos played a pivotal role in creating the amazing experiences that laid the foundation of the professional diski we enjoy today.
Now, there are so many talking points to be excited about this match.
We as the machine that delivers the information should be creating a buzz about these talking points and making sure the people feel that joy building up to it.
HAPPY DAYS: Chiefs fans are ready. Picture: Samuel Shivambu/BackpagePix.
Amakhosi are celebrating 50 years of existence, but will they celebrate it with a league title? They are currently sitting at the top of the table with a four-point difference between them and their nearest challengers, defending champions and African Club football cup regulars, Mamelodi Sundowns
Both teams have played 20 league matches.
AmaBhakaniya, who are part of the chasing pack in third place, are trying to put pressure on the league leaders. Their only shot at league glory is if Chiefs crack.
Pirates had an extra weekend to prepare for this clash because they sat out the Nedbank Cup quarterfinals, while Amakhosi lost a taxing rainy affair in a penalty shootout against Highlands Park.
A win for Chiefs will see them keep their four-point lead or more if their rivals lose their match.
A draw wouldn’t be the worst result for the Glamour Boys, while it might feel like a defeat for the Buccaneers.
It would be such an extreme bubble burster and they might not only have to hear how comfortable their Soweto rivals are leading them in the championship race but also how Chiefs ended their incredible 10-match unbeaten league run.
Interestingly, Pirates’ last defeat in the league was against them in November last year.
But they were knocked out of the Nedbank Cup, which means they are beatable despite their good form.
Enjoy the game!
