Cape Town City has no defence for their 2-1 PSL defeat to Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday night.
Coach Benni McCarthy’s manne failed to build on their first-half advantage after Kermit Erasmus opened the scoring in the third minute as they looked to end the night at the top of the league.
And by the end of the match, they looked a shadow of themselves as Amakhosi up the ante in the second half to enjoy the international break as league leaders.
City started the clash at Newlands on the front foot, slicing through coach Ernst Middendorp’s visitors.

Erasmus took full advantage as he dribbled into the box before cutting inside from the right to fire home inside the near post.
City should have been 2-0 up after Siphelele Mthembu had the ball in the net in the ninth minute, but he was wrongly flagged offside.

That set the tone for the first half, but City fell away badly after the break, failing to control the midfield and exposing their makeshift defence.
Daniel Cardoso leveled the score in the 75th minute from a freekick that could have been given as a penalty, before Kearyn Baccus fired the winner five minutes later as City failed to clear their lines with 21-year-old Keanu Cupido the only natural centreback fit at the club.

McCarthy slammed his manne and hopes chairman John Comitis is now convinced they need reinforcements by Monday’s transfer deadline.
He says: “Like I said I’m make-shifting.
“I’m playing a left back at centreback and it should be clear now for my chairman that we need a centreback.
“Our guys are coming back in December/January and against the bigger teams you get punished and that’s if you had an experienced centreback, someone who is calm and who can tell them to hold their heads then you know we would have been okay in this tie.
“Excuses aside, Chiefs came here and did what they needed to do. They didn’t do that much but they took all three points so we’ve got to give them their due for that.”
