SK Walmers really turned on the style on their trip to Primrose last weekend.
For the first time this season, the City Bowl men reached a half-century, beating their old foes 59-10.
It was another tough day at the office for the Roses, who now only have one match left in this year Super League A tournament before going back down to Super League B in 2020.
Without a win in 2019, the Roses have one more chance to give it their all and restore some pride when they host Durbell on Saturday.
Walmers, meanwhile, still have three matches left to play, starting with a visit from Villager on Saturday, before hosting Brackenfell and UWC next week.
But even if they win all of those matches with a bonus point, they won’t make the top six.

Despite both the Roses and Walmers’ seasons effectively over, there are a number of teams still pushing for a playoff spot.
As it stands, UniMil and Brackenfell are in seventh and ninth place respectively.
And that’s why all roads lead to Brackenfell this weekend, where the hosts will be involved in a straight shootout with visitors UniMil.
Both teams have to win the match to stand a chance of making the playoffs, with Brackenfell hoping to make their game in hand on their visitors count.
Sandwiched by those two on the log, Hamiltons don’t stand a chance of making the top six, even if they beat UCT at the Stephen Oval on Saturday as they will run out of games to make the climb.
The team that is being hunted by UniMil and Brackenfell is Tygerberg.

Currently in sixth spot on the log, the Tiere have a one-point lead over UniMil and come up against undefeated Maties.
The men from Ravensmead will know that nothing but a miracle victory will secure them a place in the knockouts and will undoubtedly go all-out at Florida Park.
The final match of the weekend sees Paarl host NTK.
With the hosts having secured survival this season, the match will serve as a warm-up for the men from Parow, who will have to play in the promotion/relegation battle later this year.
