The West London All Stars went on a road March this past Sunday in celebration of the Springboks winning the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
The owner, Waleed “DA Boss” Hendricks, posted the news on Facebook, just moments after the Bokke won.
Mr. Hendricks, who is quite a big New Zealand rugby supporter, says that despite him being an All Blacks fan for the style of rugby that they play and for other political reasons, he could not help but feel the excitement in his heart when the Bokke won.
He says that in his heart, he really felt proud of his country and the dynamic Springbok team.
He also says that his supporters all needed an immediate reason to celebrate and a jol with their favourite team was just what they needed.

The team then decided that Manenberg and Lentegeur was their destination for the day.
They gathered at the klopskamer on Sunday afternoon from 2pm and departed for Manenberg at about 5pm.
Many supporters were dressed in their Bok sweaters and still filled with the excitement from being the new Rugby World Cup champions.
When they arrived in Manenberg, the laan was already filled with supporters and people who all came out to see the West London All Stars’ Bokke road march.
Then when they started playing the anthem, many of the people on the sidelines started singing along and jolling to the rhythmic sounds of the All Stars, led by their band master, the tremendously talented Mundhir “Challa” McKriel.
Challa is now joined in the band master position by the talented Lorenzo Lenny Blignaut, who after a short break from West London, has finally returned home where he belongs, says Mr. Hendricks.
He also reckons that they will make a mean team, come the carnival competition.

The team ended up only doing Manenberg, much to the delight of the mense in the laan who all chanted “we want more,” as the team reached the end of the road march.
En ken jy vir “Da Boss”? He gave the people just that and asked his band masters to play another number.
The jol came at the right time because sometimes, like me, we all just sit at home watching the game alone, or with one or two friends.
So as the Bokke won, I’m sure many people wanted to jol and celebrate the win, but they did not know where or how, so this Bok jol by the All Stars united people again and they could jol like winners to the tunes of the All Stars.

Da Boss said: “For me, I’m not a sore loser and I may be an All Black, but the West London supporters are die-hard Bokke fans, so we will support the Bokke as a team, with a win that gives so much hope to many South Africans in this trying time.
“And it proves we are stronger together. For me, what was great to see in this win, from a klopse perspective, is just this year, Tweede Nuwe Jaar, we saw Siya Kolisi, our beloved Bok captain, jolling with the Juvie Boys in klopse gear and in the same year, we see him in Japan on television lifting the Webb Ellis trophy and sending the whole South Africa into a frenzy.
“I think many klopse supporters take pride in knowing that the man who lifted the Rugby World Cup this year is a klopse fan.”
This is inspiring to many of the youth, and one can learn a lot from the humility which Siya Kolisi possesses.
