You may recall a few weeks ago I was toying with the idea of renovating my house.
The problem is I had identified one major hurdle - finances.
Turns out that making changes to your home so it resembles your dream house more closely, isn’t a cheap and simple affair.
I have been making tentative inquiries and it is a much more daunting task than I initially imagined.
But I’m not one to give up easily, and I have been asking many stupid questions from the people who know about these things.
So here’s the plan: I am going to do all the hard work to find out the best way to renovate your house into your dream home, without it costing an arm and a leg.
And then I am going to do it.
So far, I have come to realise that it will have to involve a lot of DIY and stubborn determination to get this done.
But I’m not going to be blinded by ignorance and attempt things I have zero chance of completing successfully, so some expert involvement is crucial.
But everything else I am prepared to learn and teach myself in order to achieve this crazy goal of mine.
Fortunately I enjoy working with my hands and love learning new skills; and most importantly, I am very prepared to fail. And then try again.
