A young man and his friend were nearly killed after thugs dragged them into a car and stabbed and robbed them.
The man’s brother, who asked not to be identified, says the victim and a friend had been leaving the BP garage in Morgenster, Mitchells Plain where they bought cigarettes when a white VW Citi Golf with four men inside stopped at the shop, pretending to buy a loaf of bread.
He says as the car drove away, one of the men dragged the friend into the vehicle and began beating him and removed his takkies. The man says his 26-year-old sibling ran for his life and tried to hide away in a residential area known as The Farm.

“The car followed him and they got out of the car and began stabbing and attacking him,”’ says the brother.
“He was wearing a Nike pants and sweater and his takkies and they undressed him and took his stuff.”
He says the friend found his brother and carried the wounded man all the way home to Beacon Valley from where he was rushed to hospital.
The young man has three stab wounds to his back, one stab wound in the lung and another in the right hip.
“If it wasn’t for the friend, who knows what would have happened to my brother,” he says.
“He carried my brother home and began shouting for help and then my dad ran out and I rushed him to hospital with my car. My brother is in a lot of pain, but he is stable.”
He warns mense to be on the lookout for the thugs and piemp them to cops.
