Police are investigating a case of abduction after an eight-year-old girl was allegedly snatched while walking with a family friend on Saturay.
The girl was found alive at the house of a relative on Sunday afternoon.
Cops say the child was walking with a woman near the Vasco Train Station when they were approached by an unknown man just before 6pm.

It is alleged the man told the woman he does promotions for a well-known retailer and he had “scouted” the girl.
The man walked with the duo towards N1 City Mall and gave the woman money to buy cool drinks at a nearby garage.
He then told the woman that a taxi will take her home to fetch another child for the “promotion” and walked off with the eight-year-old.
The woman later ran to the mall only to find the retailer was closed and the child was missing.
Police spokesperson, Noloyiso Rwexana, confirmed the incident and that the child has since been found.
“Bellville FCS detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding an abduction of an eight-year-old girl that occurred on Saturday about 6pm in Goodwood area.
“According to information at hand, the child was abducted from a family friend who was walking with her.
“The man approached them and told the family friend that he was doing a promotion and the child fitted the profile,” Rwexana said.
