Cops are investigating a case of murder after a boy, 16, was stabbed and killed near Clifton Beach on Saturday night.
Two months ago, a UCT student was also stabbed in the vicinity.
SAPS’ Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana said Law Enforcement officers saw the victim with a stab wound at 10.45pm.
He received medical attention, but died on the scene from his injuries.
She said circumstances surrounding the stabbing are being investigated with no arrests made.
The stabbing reportedly took place on
Victoria Road, which runs parallel to all
Clifton’s beaches.
This is the same area where UCT student Mhleli Cebo Mbatha, 18, was killed in an apparent robbery above Clifton Third Beach in September.
The beach is popular with matriculants celebrating the end of exams.
