The wife of alleged drug kingpin and leader of the Dixie Boys, Fadwaan “Vet” Murphy has been granted bail of R20 000 in the Mitchells Plain Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Aneeka Murphy, 25, and her co-accused Heinrich Olynne, 54, were nabbed a week ago after they were found with six guns including a police-issue firearm.
Olynne was remanded back into custody and the matter postponed to 18 March for further investigation.
Police were patrolling in Lentegeur on 28 February, just after 11pm, when they noticed two nervous-looking people inside a white Hyundai Elantra.

The woman refused to comply with cops and ran off.
Cops searched the car and noticed that the back panel of the front seats had been tampered with.
They found six guns and ammunition in a hidden compartment.
The serial numbers of four of the firearms had been filed off.
The driver was arrested and the woman was found at her residence.
The duo were charged with the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
Murphy, his ex-wife, Shafieka and two others are on trial at the Cape High Court for 229 charges including racketeering and money laundering.
