A video in which police officers allegedly force suspects to roll from curb to curb in the street has gone viral.
The 36-second video was circulated on WhatsApp and the incident is alleged to have occurred on Monday in Manenberg.
In the video, two people believed to be police officers from Manenberg SAPS can be seen standing in a street and three people can be seen lying on the wet tar.
A Law Enforcement and Traffic vehicle can be seen in the back passing a block of flats not far from where the officers and men are.
One officer has a backpack in their hand while the men are rolling from side to side in the street.
The men have to pass each other in order to roll from curb to curb while the one officer observes them and the other is throwing out contents of the bag onto the pavement.

There has been nationwide outrage over police and members of the South African National Defence Force allegedly abusing their power and being heavy handed with citizens since the start of the nationwide lockdown.
Videos, photos and reports have emerged of cops and soldiers beating people, forcing them to do squats, pushups and frog jumps for contravening the lockdown regulations.
Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk says they are not aware of the Manenberg incident, but encouraged the people in the video to file a formal complaint.
“Kindly be advised that the complainant in this matter is encouraged to establish contact with the Manenberg station commander to lodge a formal complaint and for further assistance,” Van Wyk said.
