Cops have opened a case of murder after a 37-year-old man was stabbed to death by two men at Goodwood Train Station.
Metrorail spokesperson, Riana Scott, says they are unable to confirm whether the man was stabbed and then pushed out of the train carriage.
The incident occurred around 7am yesterday.
“The person was declared dead on arrival of emergency services. Goodwood SAPS are investigating the incident,” says Scott.
Police spokesperson, Siyabulela Malo, says: “According to reports two unknown men grabbed the deceased and stabbed him with a sharp object into his upper body and he died on the scene.
“Circumstances surrounding this incident are being investigated with no arrests made.”
