A man from Parklands is desperately seeking the help of the public to help find his missing best friend and roommate.
Didier Mudeyi, 33, originally from Burundi, was last seen on 30 September, when he left for work the morning but never returned.
His worried friend, Paul Mduie, 28, says he doesn’t know what to do anymore.
“We have been living together for a while and Didier has no family this side, only back home,” he says.
“On Monday, 30 September, we both got done for work and he left at about 6am. I also left for work soon after.
“Didier works as a butcher blockman in Maitland and the last time I heard from him was the afternoon when he told me he would be coming home earlier.
“I got home and he was not home. I only got worried after 6pm because I was sure maybe he just stayed to work on.
PLEA: Didier Mudeyi
“By 9pm I knew something was wrong.”
He says he tried calling his friend whose number just went to voicemail.
“I tried calling so many times, even till today, Didier’s number is on voicemail. This is not like him, he would come home.
“I cannot remember what he was dressed in but I know he has no tattoos or piercings.
“I am so worried about him. I have filed a case with Table View police but they have not said anything yet,” Paul adds.
