Police say this man can help them with information about a massacre that happened at a Lotus River take-aways last month.
Cops say they need the public’s help to trace Gerard Daniels who is also known as Boere.
Three men, including a worker, died after a gunman opened fire in the winkel during a suspected gang hit on 9 September.
Bismillah take-aways employee Usiman M’Bwana, 28, was killed along with two skollies who tried to run away from the gunman through the back of the shop.
Grassy Park Station Commander Colonel Dawood Laing says cops were called to the horrific triple murder scene shortly after 3pm that day, where they discovered that the two dead strangers were high-profile gangsters from Hillview.
“The two men, aged 33 and 28, are members of the Flakkas gang and came all the way from Hillview to buy something at the pharmacy in the same shopping complex as the takeaways in Klip Road,” explained Laing.
“They were driving in a VW Golf GTi and were the target of the shooting. The worker inside was an unfortunate casualty.
“The hitmen watched them go inside the pharmacy and when they left, they went into Bismillah and ordered something.”
The worker, who was killed, was serving the skollies when the gunman opened fire.
Police are now looking for Boere.
“He is wanted for questioning regarding the murder that happened at the fast food outlet on September 9 on the corner of Zeekoe and Klip Road in Lotus River,” says Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana.
“We have reason to believe that Daniels can assist us with our investigation.”
