As the third season of The Voice SA comes to an end, viewers can expect a star studded final as the top five contestants sing their hearts out for the winning title.
It's a battle between the Eastern Cape and Western Cape this season. In the running are Cape Town hopefuls, Soné Joubert, Tasché Burger and the PJ Twins as well Port Elizabeth hopefuls Eon le Roux and Siki Jo-An.
On Sunday each of the finalists will share the stage, in a line-up of duets, with five of the country’s top vocalists.
For the first time in her career, Afrikaans music legend Laurika Rauch will be on stage at a live television singing contest. Laurika will perform a remake of her iconic song, Stuur Groete aan Mannetjies Roux with Soné.
South Africa’s Queen of Afro-jazz, Judith Sephuma, will be joining Siki Jo-An with their rendition of Chaka Khan’s I'm Every Woman.
Season 2's, Caroline-Grace Brüssow and Eon will perform Elton John’s Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me.
Singer extraordinaire Timothy Moloi and The PJ Twins will perform Luther Vandross’ Impossible Dream, while Tasché and her coach, Francois van Coke, will perform their version of Toe Vind Ek Jou, by Francois and Karen Zoid.
Other acts on the night include local musos Jo Black and Roan Ash.
Viewers can also look forward to show-stopping solos from the talents as they get whittled down to the winner, as decided by the voting public earlier this week.
The show will be broadcast live from the Mosaïek Teatro in Johannesburg.
