YoungstaCPT and AKA have finally released their much anticipated single and music video, titled Main Ou’s.
For the past few weeks, Super Mega and the Cape Crusader have been teasing their fans on social media with pictures of themselves surrounded by fans - young and old - in Hanover Park.
The single and music video was released on Friday afternoon.
This is the first-ever collaboration between two of the country’s biggest hip hop acts - who both hail from Cape Town.

Hanover Park is one of the Cape’s most gang ravaged communities, but this stigma didn't stop AKA (real name Kiernan Forbes) and YoungstaCPT (real name Riyadh Roberts) from taking their music to the mense vannie flats.
The opening sequence of the music video shows the two rapping in the streets alone - as AKA gets out of a red Toyota Tazz. Moments later they are surrounded by Hanover Park residents holding up YoungstaCPT Wes Kaap hand signs.
