The glittering affair took place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Monday night, hosted by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco.
Ariana Grande and Swift got the highest nominations, with 10 nods each.
Swift took home two trophies for Video of the Year and Video for Good, with her You Need to Calm Down music video, while Eilish palmed the coveted Best New Artist award.

In her speech, Swift called out US President Donald Trump, saying everyone who voted for her video means “that you want a world where we’re all treated equally”.
She added: “At the end of this video there was a petition - and there still is a petition - for the Equality Act which basically just says we all deserve equal rights under the law and I want to thank you to everyone who signed that petition because it now has half a million signatures, which is five times the amount it would need to warrant a response from the White House.”
