Katy Perry and fiancé Orlando Bloom have had to evacuate from Australia and Czech Republic respectively due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 35-year-old pop star - who is pregnant with her first child with actor Orlando - was forced to cancel a secret listening party on Friday after a 24-hour quarantine in her Sydney hotel.
Two people at Universal Music Australia’s headquarters in Sydney were exposed to Covid-19, according to the Sunshine Coast Daily newspaper, which reported that staff have been told to quarantine themselves immediately.
Katy’s sudden departure follows the news that Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were infected with the deadly virus - also in Sydney last week.
Taking to Instagram, the 63-year-old actor, who is in isolation, wrote: “Hello folks. @ritawilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else. There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no? Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball. Hanx (sic)”

In Prague, Orlando revealed he was heading to the US to be “quarantined” after production on his show, Carnival Row, was shut down.
Orlando posted: “It’s farewell from us as we’re going home to be quarantined.
“We’re coming home to the States, at least I’m coming home to the States because we want to get in before the quarantine.
“Big love everybody, stay safe out there... It seems really crazy actually this whole corona thing, but do the right thing by you and your family and stay safe.
“A few weeks, we’ll beat this bad boy.”
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is staying put, revealing that she’s gone into self-quarantine with her dogs and is refusing to visit her parents and grandmothers
The 33-year-old shared on Instagram on Saturday: “So I talked to some doctors and scientists. It’s not the easiest for everyone right now but the kindest/healthiest thing we can do is self-quarantine and not hang out with people over 65 and in large groups.
“I love you world, we’ll all get through this. Trust me, I talked to God --she said we’re gonna be ok. [sic]”
