The coaches have made their selections and now it’s all up to the fans as the top 16 contenders for The Voice South Africa head into the exciting Live Shows on Sunday for the viewers’ votes.
Coaches LIRA, Riky Rick, Riana Nel and Francois van Coke chose the most promising talent for their teams in the Blind Auditions and put them through their paces in the KnockOut Rounds, and then pitted them against each other in the ferocious Battles, and now only the best of the best will get to perform live.
Five Capetonians have made it to the Live rounds, with another two hopefuls waiting.
#TeamLIRA will be represented in the Lives by The PJ Twins, 20, from Bonteheuwel, and fellow-Capetonian Krista Jonas, 29.
#TeamRiky has Amy Tjasnik, 26, from Cape Town on his side, while #TeamRiana has no Capetonians on her team.
#TeamVanCoke also has two Capetonians.They are the singing waitress, Tasché Burger, 18, from Brackenfell, and payroll officer, Anslin Gysman, 22, from Philippi.
Meanwhile, four talents could get a stab at the Lives, if fans vote for them, including Capetonians Ashur Petersen, 26, and Soné Joubert.
The Strepsils Viewers’ Battle will take place on Sunday in the first Live Show at the Mosaïek Teatro in Fairlands, Johannesburg.
