It’s like this weather is telling us, “okay, kry nou klaar with outdoor events and festivals”.
So this weekend might be your last chance to enjoy a really lekker outdoor event.
The Kylemore Charity Foundation hosts their fifth annual Family Day and is promising lots of fun and exciting acts on show.
The potjiekos challenge will be adjudicated by the cast of Arendsvlei.
The Stormers rugby players will also pay a visit, and there will be jumping castles, go-karts, water fun, a puppet show, exotic snakes, and food stalls.

The headline acts on stage will be The Rockets, N2 Jazz band and Early B.
R100 gets you in at the Kylemore Sportsground on Saturday at 9am.

The grand opening of The Hood Kitchen in Mitchell’s Plain is hosted by Donovan Carelse.
The event takes place on Saturday at Spine Road High School.
Food, drink and clothing will be for sale and doors open at 6pm.

There will be special guest performances by Branton Charles and Rosco B.
