A Bridgetown man has been missing for a year and the Western Cape Missing Persons Unit is now asking anyone with information to come
forward.
Coalman Witbooi, 22, was last seen on 21 November 2018 wearing a black tracksuit pants with a multi-coloured jacket with a white hoodie and flip flops.
Coalman has brown hair, is 1.7m tall and has brown eyes.
He weighs about 60kg and has a tattoo on his left arm which reads “pray for better days”.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Western Cape Missing Persons Unit, Candice van der Rheede, says they have been searching non-stop for Coalman.
“He had just simply disappeared. He last told his family he was going to a friend, but never got to his friend’s house.
SEARCH: Coalman
“Myself and my team have searched everywhere. We have searched mortuaries, hospitals, police stations, squatter camps, even at his friends and family’s places, but it’s like he just disappeared without a trace,” Candice says.
She says she and her team will not give up searching for him.
“We won’t give up hope. If we could crack one of our oldest cases from 2002 and find a man, who also disappeared without a trace in a bos in Simon’s Town, we can find Coalman.”
