Despite a Leicester city lockdown, coach Brendan Rodgers has told his players to keep focused on Champions League qualification as they head to Everton in the Premier League tonight.
An alarming rise of coronavirus cases has disrupted life in the town, but it has been confirmed that the Foxes can host Crystal Palace at the King Power this weekend.
But Rodgers is hoping to rally his troops ahead of their trip to the Toffees after the Foxes restarted the crisis-hit season in third place, but with just one goal and no wins since the restart, they are under pressure.
Rodgers, though, says his manne must hou kop for the remaining seven games and keep Chelsea and Manchester United at bay.
He says: “The games are coming thick and fast. We’re disappointed, but very quickly we have to get over it.
“We have a great chance now, playing against Everton, to continue our level of
performance.
“We’re just waiting for that moment in the game where we get that early goal that can really give this young team confidence.”
