Tottenham are out to show that losing to Watford was just a blip as they line up Liverpool this weekend.
The Reds travel to Wembley for Saturday’s 1pm kickoff with a perfect record after winning their first four games of the Premier League.
And Christian Eriksen and his Spurs teammates are still licking their wounds having their own three-match winning run ended by Watford’s buzzing Hornets.
After going a goal to the good at Vicarage Road two Sundays ago, they lost their composure and went down 2-1 putting an early speed-bump in their season.
But Eriksen says they need to find the form that saw them beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the season to get back on the right track to challenge for the title.
The Danish playmaker says: “We’re very disappointed.
“We want and expect to win every game and losing is not something we often do, luckily.
“We need to get back on track and do that against Liverpool.
“That’s the perfect occasion to come back and we’ll do that.
“It’s not something that often happens to us.
“That’s what everyone felt, everyone had the feeling that they were not going to score but they got a free-kick in a dangerous place, a decent cross and a good header.
“We had chances, didn’t finish and they scored from two set-pieces – we can’t be satisfied with that.
“The result against United was exceptional but we’re down to earth again. This is football, anything can happen in any game, it goes so quickly with ups and downs.”
