Stellenbosch boss Steve Barker is looking to pile more misery on Kaizer Chiefs at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday evening (7.30pm).
He reckons that Amakhosi will come out all guns blazing in the PSL clash after Sunday’s Telkom Knockout Cup defeat to Maritzburg United.
But Barker believes he saw enough at the weekend to hurt the league leaders and turn the tables on the Soweto giants.
He says: “I’m sure they are going to be fired up for the occasion to keep that lead at the top of the table.
“They’d be disappointed with their performance. So I expect nothing less than a fired-up Chiefs. But they will find an equally fired-up Stellenbosch.
“They have the old CBD [Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat] with [Samir] Nurkovic now.
“They have very good link-up play.”

Veteran defender Marc van Heerden adds that last month’s 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates has given he and his teammates the belief that they can slay another giant.
He says: “It’s about imparting knowledge to the youngsters and try to calm them because it will be tough, no doubt.
“The added crowd and the added pressure on Chiefs who need that win to maintain their lead - so you have to calm the storm.”
Meanwhile, former Chiefs defender Morgan Gould will miss the showdown due to suspension.
