Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is planning showdown talks with his bosses after next Wednesday’s Europa League final.
The Italian had a difficult first season in charge at Stamford Bridge, weathering a slump in form and fan protests to secure a date against Arsenal in Baku and guaranteeing Champions League football next season.
However, Sarri has been linked to a return to his homeland with Juventus and Roma showing interest in the former Napoli coach.
The 60-year-old says his decision will not be based on the outcome of the final.
He explains: “If the situation is like this then I want to go immediately.
“Ten months of work and then I have to play everything in 90 minutes, that is not right. You are either happy about my work or not happy.
“I think that we had a good season, with a lot of problems of course.
“If we are able to win, then it will become a wonderful season.”
