Tashreeq Morris is pumped to fire Cape Town City to safety as they kickoff their final push to the PSL season.
The Citizens take on Bloem Celtic at Athlone Stadium on Sunday, looking to build on their four-point gap from the bottom of the table.
Morris, a useful attacking talent, returned to action from a serious knee injury last month after being sidelined since September.
And the 25-year-old is keen to make a telling impact for the Citizens and impress coach Jan Olde Riekerink.

The former Ajax Cape Town man says: “It feels good to be back.
“Picking up such a big injury in my first few months with the club was tough mentally because I came in with the intention to make a positive impact to the club’s goals and ambitions.
“With the help of the almighty and the support of the whole technical team and everyone at the club I’m ready to contribute to the team ending off on a high.
“I look forward to playing regularly again, I’m sure we will end the season well.”

Meanwhile, the club’s top goalscorer this season, Kermit Erasmus, faces a late fitness ahead of this weekend’s clash, it remains to be seen if Riekerink will risk his star man ahead of the crucial run-in.
